Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Silent Storm Technologies ("we", "us") collects when you visitsilentstormtech.com, buy one of our apps, or use them, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can and we never sell personal information.

When you buy

Orders are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt and licence key. Your card details go to Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors, never to us. Lemon Squeezy shares with us your name, email address, country, what you bought and your licence key, so we can support you. Lemon Squeezy's handling of your information is covered by its own privacy policy.

When you use our apps

• Licence checks. When an app starts, it sends your licence key and an identifier for the computer to Lemon Squeezy's licensing service to confirm the key is valid and to count how many computers are using it.
• Updates. At launch, each app checks our download servers for a new version. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address to the service hosting the files.
• Our apps do not send us your projects, patches, switch configurations, network scans or usage analytics. Those stay on your computer.

When you contact us

The contact form sends us your name, email address, the topic you picked and your message, along with the country your request came from. We use them only to reply to you and keep them as long as we need to help you. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which checks your browser without tracking you across sites; see Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.

When you visit the site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived logs (such as IP addresses) for security and performance. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits; it does not use cookies or build a profile of you. We don't set any cookies ourselves. The Lemon Squeezy checkout may set cookies it needs to complete a purchase.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers named above (Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, and the companies that host our downloads and deliver our email), and only so they can provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it, by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. We'll answer within 30 days. Order records Lemon Squeezy keeps for tax purposes are managed by Lemon Squeezy.

Children

Our products are made for professionals and are not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
